This is what I started making on the train to London.

Making rozets for vintage button rings, this time a combination of the finest

paperyarn with cotton and silk.

On Saturday I will show them totally finished.

Someone doesn't agree, me being busy with beading .... so she really comes and sits on my materials untill she gets the necessary hugs !

My creative space : wrist mittens

Made me these 'wrist mittens' for the citytrip to Berlin ...
(with a 'left over' from the granny square wool)

Expecting about 3° to 5 ° only, it will be handy to have warm hands

but fingers free to browse easily through my cityguide.
Still working on a pair for the hubs.

Now maybe make a necklace to hang on my readingglasses so I can read the citymap easily ;-) ...

Trying something new ... as I have a crochet addiction and my granny square blanket is finished I'm back to a tiny needle and superfine thread. 

 I'm into making 'pikootjes' - I really don't know how to translate this.

Today I am working with products of nature :

 precious red coral and lava.
Just love the contrast between these two products, the irregularity and roughness of the lava combined with the shiny red lava.

I started making rings with beautiful river and beachstones pimped with leather, rubber or paperyarn.

As I love these stone so much, I tried to make some brooches too :

Winter is coming,

I hate being cold,

so I knitted a neckwarmer,

still have to tuck in the threads,

but I won't be cold at my neck this winter :-)

As I was immobile because of a blocked spine-nerve I couldn't do anything more then crocheting ...

so I did and made a some beads for my new broochpins !

For my 47 th birthday my husband made me a craftroom.

Tada ! Here it is !

I am very proud and happy to have my own spot where I can work and have all my supplies around me.

The bottle of Cava was to inaugurate the room :-) and celebrate of course !

The recycling project :  bicycle tyre rings.

I make little cushions of the tyres and pimp them with a pin.

I need help ! Since I have been beading I have been using knippers.  But up till now never found the perfect one ... the one that cuts the moment and the place I want it to cut.

Please give me some advice for what should be the 'Rolls Royce' amongst the knippers !
