Sewing thread loops necklace

Tried it with merino and paperyarn, but wanted to make a 'smaller' version of this necklace, so used 2 threads of sewingthread and mixed the colors. 
Making tiny loops of only 6 stitches comes to this result.

In sickness and in health


Last week I got infected with the flu (as so many among us).  After a couple of days I had the courage to take up my crochetneedle again and started working on some new pieces.



The more vibrant the colors, the better I was starting to feel!

 Tiny  glass circles (only 3mm) combined with a curly crochet twist and some small lampwork beads.

Some crochet, some wire


 Started with 2 silk crocheted tubes of only 6 stitches.


Put some wire inside and start twisting them around a tiny round stick.

Copper 2 eurocent coins from Europe - Germany and France - silk crochet work and a bead on a copper chain. 
Holiday memory ? French or German roots ? Special occasion in the year the coins where issued ? Just cute ?
