Est challenge entry

This weeks entry is hosted by one perfect day.  She chose for Gil Elvgren pin-up girls. Not an easy subject, but worth trying to make something !
I chose to give an accent to the beautiful cleavages these pin-ups have.  So I made a very modern and minimalistic necklace to give an extra boost to the cleavage of my chose pin-up model.

Minimalistic summer spine collection

A while ago I bought a packet of pencil sea urchin spines.  Didn't know what to do with them, so set them aside untill the inspiration came.
I made some holes in the spines so I could use them for making simple but stylish necklaces.

Before and after

During my trip to the Loire last month I visited a very nice 'vide grenier' along the river Loire in the little village of Montsoreau. If you are travelling to France, click on the link and have a look if there is an 'vide grenier' near your vacation resort.
I am always on the look for vintage beads, old boxes of silk thread ... and I found this box to put in beads.

"What men want"

Men are easy to please if it comes on making some jewelry for them.  This is a custom order for a jockey that wanted to have some simple necklaces.
