Try out with curlicue crochet

 Not happy with the result, way to irregular.

 But hey,  who doesn't try, doesn't learn.

 

Made a concession and put my 0.75 aside to use a 2.00 needle.

With a mix of 8 threads it gives a good result. 

Some patience needed for the final necklace, as the 

elbow isn't very cooperative for the moment. 

Mini harvest

First harvest of cherry tomatoes, chili, pepper and paprika !

Grown in my garden and on my kitchen windowsill.

Used the paprika to make this recipe 

and combined it with this.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm heaven !

A milestone

After 26 years being a travelagent in the same office, I resigned.  Times change and we can't deny the enormous impact of the internet on our job. 

In the beginning it was a real tool, now is has become a concurrent without reverence.   People tend to book themselves their holidays on the internet and less and less rely on the knowledge and experience of a travelagent.

During my career at the travelagency I have been wearing a uniform, which left no 'space' to wear something of my own collection. 

A new job is waiting for me at the Townhall in my hometown,

and I can't wait to start !!!

Now I will be able to wear whatever I like ... and I also be able to wear some of my selfmade designs.  Therefore I already made some 'for personal use'.

Desperatly seeking some attention

 

Joggeli is desperatly seeking some attention and just almost sits on my work.  You know how persistant cats can be if they need a hug (and food).

Nail knot

Combi crochet/leather version of the nail knot.

All these colors where mixed in this bracelet. 

 Still not finished. 

I wasn't satisfied with the closing I made, so I have to look for an 

alternative.
