 Just silk crochet on a gold plated flat choker, makes a classy and sophisticated piece!

                first one was made out of paperyarn (Paperphine)

 

others followed in silk, cotton, a bit wilder, a bit tieder, waved, degradé ...

Keeping it simple

picture jasper beads in shades of mauve, purple, grey, mustard, beige

6 mm tiny amazonite beads in pastel turqoise

 just using beautiful gemstones with a matte finish 

and pimping them with a crochet detail:
