Marvin Gaye Midnight Love iPod tour

On 'another' rainy day in May, my friend and me took the time to make the Marvin Gaye Midnight Love Tour.
Guided by an iPod and wearing headphones we walked
the tour through Ostend.
(you can rent it for only 5 € at www.visitoostende.be)

While listening to the lifestory (and his music) of Marvin and his stay in Ostend,
we walked by the hotel he stayed in 1981 and a lot of
other touristic spots.

The tour was interesting and welmade, enjoyable to look at the iPod and of course to listen !
Who doesn't know one of his most popular songs  :

Enjoyed a pasta lunch at the art-deco Bistro Beau-site

The story ended in a sad way as in 1984 Marvin got killed by
his own father ...

How romantic, and of course I love Marvin Gaye's music. Your photo-essay is a beautiful tribute, I can get a feeling how fun that midnight tour was...

...and the pasta looks marvelous!

I love Marvin Gaye! Such beautiful music.
I had no idea there was a Marvin Gaye tour in Ostende - I was there very many years ago - must be time for a revisit!

That's a great way to visit your own town, I'm sure!
