Yakbone beads from Nepal

Juanita Tortilla surprised me by sending me some beads for my birthday from her travels to Nepal.
They are made from the bones of a Yak.

I've combined them with other beads made of natural sources eg. wool, nuts, resin, seeds, wood etc into a
long necklace that can be worn once or twice twisted around the neck.

She also sended me a skein of Yak wool ! Handdyed in Nepal.
And in my favorite green ... of course :-)
