Received this little set from my mother. It belonged to my grandmother, and must be from around 1925. It's sterling silver and was bought in a jewelryshop.
Nowadays you can't buy this anymore in a jewelry shop I think.
It is very precious to me, and I will use it for my crochet work.
And pass it on ...
I googled the adress, to see if perhaps the shop would still exist. It doesn't,
but the 'passage' is still a shopping arcade in Genève.
The lions are still guarding it, preventing it from a
eventual demolishing attack ;-)

Wow, that's a great heirloom, Sandra!
Dat is echt een pareltje om te koesteren.

Dat is zeker iets om te koesteren!!
ohhhhh, zó mooi, wees er maar zuinig op:)
What a beautiful treasure! And that passage looks similar to the one in Miland where I once had the most expensive coffee in my life. It was worth it! I love keepsakes from my grandmother and mom, too.
beautiful, and a pleasure to use for sure!
Genève, ma ville natale... que de fois j'ai arpenté cette rue...
